Yentown, eine armselige Barackensiedlung außerhalb Tokyos, ist der Ort an dem viele Nicht-Japaner ihre Wünsche wahr werden lassen wollen. Die Gier nach Geld, dem Yen, eint die Bewohner unterschiedlichster Herkunft. Dort lebt das schüchterne Mädchen Ageha nach dem Tod ihrer Mutter bei der chinesischen Sängerin Glico, die in Yentown zur Hure wurde. Als ein Ageha bedrohender Yakuza getötet wird und dieser spurlos verschwinden soll, findet sich eine Kassette in dem Leichnam. Die dort gespeicherten Informationen verändern das Leben aller Beteiligten. Die Jagd einiger dunkler Gestalten nach dieser Kassette bedroht aber das Aufleben eines Wunschtraums...
